At least one American will leave the 2009 Euroleague Final Four in Berlin as a champion. The four semifinalists have nine Americans on their rosters - at least one on each club. Two of the teams have three Americans looking for the crown. Here a breakdown of each team's Americans. CSKA Moscow J.R. Holden: The Pittsburgh native is a point guard who played at Bucknell University from 1994-98. He is also well-known throughout the world for getting a Russian passport from Russia President Vladimir Putin and then leading the Russian national team to the 2007 EuroBasket title, including hitting the game-winning jumper in the final against Spain. He already owns two Euroleague titles with CSKA. Trajan Langdon: The shooting guard from Anchorage, Alaska, played at Duke University from 1994-1999 and won 1st Team All-American honors in 1999 in leading Duke to the NCAA final. Langdon later played three seasons with the Cleveland Cavaliers until 2002. Just like J.R. Holden, he also already owns two Euroleague titles with CSKA. Terrence Morris: The Frederick, Maryland native is a forward who played college hoops from 1997-2001 with Maryland. He was with the Houston Rockets for two seasons (2001-03) and half a season with the Orlando Magic (2005-06).
Olympiacos Josh Childress: The California native played four years at Stanford (2001-04) before moving onto the Atlanta Hawks and becoming a major contributor from 2004-08. His move to Olympiacos made huge headlines as the first bigger name NBA player to make the move to Europe. Lynn Greer: The Philadelphia guard was a star at Temple University from 1998-02 before heading to Europe and playing one season for the Milwaukee Bucks in 2006-07. Jannero Pargo: The Chicago native starred as a guard at Arkansas from 2000-02 before playing six seasons (2002-08) in the NBA for the Los Angeles Lakers, Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls and New Orleans Hornets. Panathinaikos Mike Batiste: The power forward played college basketball at Arizona State from 1996-99. After moving to Europe he returned to play one season with the Memphis Grizzlies in 2002-03. Batiste won the 2007 Euroleague crown with Panathinaikos. Drew Nicholas: The Long Island, New York native played guard at Maryland University from 1999-2003 and guided the Terrapins the 2002 NCAA title before moving to Europe. Barcelona Andre Barrett: The Bronx guard starred at Seton Hall from 2000-04. He played on and off in the NBA from 2004-2008 for the Houston Rockets, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Toronto Raptors, Chicago Bulls and Los Angeles Clippers before moving to Europe.
