Europe's Top Basketball Competition Tips Off On October 15

European basketball fans are already anxiously awaiting the start of the Euroleague Regular Season, which tips off with one game on October 15 before it begins in earnest on October 21 and 22 for the rest of the first game day.
Group A Breakdown
The 24 Regular Season teams - including two teams from the Qualifying Rounds - are broken down into four groups of six teams. They will play a round-robin system where each team plays each other in the group at home and away. The top four teams from each group will advance to the Top 16.

Barcelona are clearly the favorites - even to reach the Final Four. Siena also should get through to the Top 16 while Asvel could challenge to finally give France a top team in the Euroleague. Zalgiris and Fenerbahce both look to bounce back from poor international seasons last year.
